Quentin Kaiser took these pictures of the signs posted by the tent camp areas for each of the four squadrons of the 340th Bombardment Group- the 486th, 487th, 488th and 489th Bombardment Squadrons.
This is my dad with "CANADAK," the dog named for the four tent mates: Carter, Naughton, Devine and Kaiser, in the defensive 50 caliber machine gun trench behind their tent.
