Morganti, Williams, and Holloway ferried two generals from El Aquina to Palermo, Catania, Taranto, and Brindisi on a <A HREF="spinglerwilliams2.html" target="_blank"> secret mission</A>. <BR><BR><BR> <IMG SRC="Drury06.jpg" Width=800 Height=565 ALT="Original Crew of Lt. Alfred Drury."><BR> According to Drury, these were the fates of the soldiers pictured in this crew photo: Jake Muirhead was shot down and KIA, John Brisky was shot down and KIA in the Adriatic, Boyd survived being shot down twice- landing in friendly areas, Delore Monroe was KIA by Flak in flight, and Bob Crowell was shot down, captured and became a POW in Germany.
