I am continually amazed at how well camouflaged the mother is in her nest environment.

Our neighbor discovered a piece of an eggshell under the nest on March 24th.

Only one baby can be seen in the nest on March 24th.
Today we were only able to see one baby in the nest although we thought the smaller of the two might be obscured by its older sibling who seems to be growing very well.


Sometimes the mother seems to look at me rather warily.
